I got back earlier this week from a four-day trip to southern California. What a surreal experience. I felt very old and unhip. I'm relatively well put together for my part of the country so that was a disconcerting feeling. I'm not *that* old people. But, I am about 15 years, 30 pounds, and a couple of of plastic surgeries away from fitting in with the Hollywood look.

Now, we're in the midst of getting ready to travel to visit family for Easter. Travelling with children must be analogous to planning the invasion of a small country. *sigh*
