Let's see, comparing my stuff to you list. I have a little Patsy Cline, substitute Robert Johnson for Muddy Waters, lots and lots of Benny Goodman and other Big Band (I love those WWII era compilations and Glenn Miller was a gem). Plus, I have tons of alternative from the 80's and 90's ranging from the commercial (The Cure, Depeche Mode, REM, Squeeze, Kate Bush, Psychedelic Furs, Siouxsie) to the more obscure (Japan, XTC, 4AD bands, Art of Noise). My husband has the more classic rock stuff covered. I'm with you on not being into rap and hip/hop that much. Although, I do have a fondness for OutKast I will admit.
Sounds like our collections would enjoy one another. :)
