Book Tally

#8 was Ghost Ship of Diamond Shoals: The Mystery of the Carroll A. Deering by Bland Simpson. We're doing it for my bookgroup later this spring. It had some very interesting insights into post WWI hysteria, particularly about Communism and the hazards of the shipping business, but I'm not sure that I can say that I enjoyed reading it. The use of first person narrative encompassing pov of some of the major participants was unsettling as I couldn't be sure if they were factually accurate or author supposition. But, still worthwhile from a historical pov.
