My reaction? Well, I'm trying not to be too negative about it because I know a lot of people loved it, and there really was a lot there for me to love. There was a lot of good, satisfying PLOT stuff in there, but it just felt incomplete to me. I feel like I spent an hour watching a montage of the season finale rather than a cohesive story.

Actually, the description I've read that best sums up my reaction to the VM season finale was your description of Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress. That's actually the main reason I haven't commented on that entry -- I would have driven it off-topic with my VM negativity. ;-) In any case, I really enjoyed the Keith-Veronica stuff, but I didn't buy Keith's death for a moment, so it ripped me out of the emotion of it. Kyle Gallner is a very talented guy, which made that part of the ep compelling, but I guess I wasn't as emotionally involved as I would have liked to be.

I would like to love it more, but I'm a little blah on it right now. :-(
