In which I share my opinion of Pirates sans spoilers
We say PotC at World's End tonight and while narratively it made very little sense, it was a rip roaring good time and orders of magnitude better than the last one which I found interminable and generally unpleasant. Don't be put off by any negative reviews, it was a lot of fun and it didn't feel close to three hours long. Try not to think too much and just sit back and enjoy the spectacle because it's immensely entertaining.
Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirate's life for me!
ETA: #72 is Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen(May07). My sojourn through YA continues. This one deals with what it means to reinvent yourself and to confront unfair assessments and how difficult that is to do. Not very long, but I like the message of empowerment and the importance of not allowing others to define you as well as recognizing what truly has value in life.
