I saw an one! I saw an one! It took me this long, but I finally saw Logan's Xterra! :)

So I did the movie list, but I think mine was even shorter than yours. As you say, it definitely skews crime/violent drama.

We'll have to meet up for coffee if you're ever in Portland visiting the relatives again and need to escape for a couple of hours. :) I'm unlikely to be out your way, but I do bounce up and down the west coast over here quite a bit. Definitely a left-coaster, me!

Congratulations and welcome to the cult of the yellow XTerra! You're official now. You do realize that once you've joined, you can never leave right? But trust me, it's a lot better than the poinsettia growing crunchy group that Casey joined. There's much more snark and, well, a lot more Logan. lol

I'm not sure when I'll next be in Portland, but thanks for the invitation. I'll definitely keep you in mind. Having an escape plan from the mother-in-law's house is never a bad thing.

I completely agree. No right thinking person would want to leave the Logan cult. It's just part of the official cult disclaimer that we have to let you know up front that you can check out but never leave. ;)

And luuuuuuuurvvvving him sounds *so* much better than we're scarily obsessed with him. I applaud your word choice. :)

I don't know, it seems a little biased towards movies that are really old. I'm not a moviephile but I like old movies and I love reading books about old Hollywood, and I still haven't heard of a lot of these.

The list is probably designed to make people feel like uncultured louts. ;)

I think it seems biased toward violent dramas myself. lol Where are the Philadelphia Storys and the Katharine Hepburn/Spencer Tracy vehicles? Much more my idea of viewing pleasure.

I'm guess I'm just not a violent western/mob/vigilante urban dweller kind of movie gal. Ah, well, there are worse things to be than out of step with Time's movie reviewers. ;)

At least I can feel like an uncultured lout in good company. ;)

That's because a travesty like that jumps right out at you. Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, and Jimmy Stewart and it doesn't make the list? Sad. I suspect that geeky guy film critics have some major wish fulfillment fantasies fueling their choices of macho guy driven movies.
