On the off chance that someone is interested

Here's a cool meme that I've seen floating around, most recently in the LJ of [livejournal.com profile] ww1614.

Ask me for "top five" lists of pretty much anything, and I will list you my top five of that thing or things.

Come one, come all. Step right up and ask away. :)

ETA The juxtaposition of the meme's content and the music that I was listening to at the time amuses me.

I loved your number five for TV moments, I must say. It would count as one of mine too. That's why I love that show. It is just so damn SATISFYING. I hope it keeps on that way.

I recognized most of your quotes, but not 2 & 3. What are they from?

2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail from the scene when Arthur gets into a discussion of political systems with the two peasants. Also includes the classic "Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony." :)

3. The Way We Were when Katy and Hubbel's relationship is falling apart.

I hope that VM does keep maintain its incredibly high standards. Did you see that CBS is going to air 4 episodes? 2 on the 7/29 and 1 on each of the following weeks? I've seen Pilot and Echoll's Family Christmas for the 29th. I'm guessing that they're filling JoA's old spot.

I did see that. I think it's a great idea. An Echolls Family Christmas is a good one too. I think it's a great idea to only do mostly stand-aloneish ones. I think a lot of people were fooled into NOT watching the show because of the season long mystery arc, thinking if they missed one week, they'd be lost.
