I like Oliver. Or you could also go with something from the literary world, like Darby (Mr. Darby) or Finnigan. Without seeing him its hard to pick out a name. Generally I've found that new pets name themselves. For example, Toro got his name because the first 3 days we had him home, he would do nothing but ram his head into everything that came into his eyeline. Hence Toro like the bull. It worked. I say give it a few days and he'll name himself.
