50 book pledge update
Books 9 and 10.
#9 is Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. A hypnotic, vaguely surreal and altogether marvelous book. Probably the best thing I've read since The Time Traveler's Wife. I highly recommend it.
#10 is How to Kill A Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo. Chick lit that turned out to have more heft and depth that I anticipated going into it. A nice antidote to a grey, rainy morning spent waiting for car repairs to be done.
So, 1/5 of the way to fulfilling the pledge.
