Today's reasons to be happy vol. 2

1. It's a lovely, sunny day and I'm wearing a retro pink sundress with an embroidered daisy motif. With a fake pearl drop necklace and matching earrings I might add. *starts humming* "I feel pretty..." :)

2. I'm having lunch with an author friend today and we're going to dish over his attempts to break into Hollywood and who knows what else.

3. It's GG *and* VM tonight. J and I will watching GG and then as she's off to bed it's Neptune time for me. What t-shirt will Dick be sporting tonight? And just what Urbandictionary.com entry will the writers sneak into the script for this ep? I can't wait to find out. Oh, and there's that whole bus crash mystery thing too. ;)

4. Did I mention that it's lovely and sunny?

What are you happy about today?

Daisies and pink and pearls. Thinking of Angela like that makes me happy. :D

Why thank you ma'am. I'm glad to hear that I'm spreading happiness to other countries. :)

It's a good think that I enjoyed the nice weather today. It's going to drop over 20 degrees tomorrow. Ah, the vagaries of Mother Nature.

So, I'm just catching up with my flist now, and I had to say that this was a very cheery entry. It's only marginally sunny in Seattle today, but I am happy that it's nearly the weekend, and that Seattle is such a beautiful city in the spring time. And that I live and work on the water.

I hope you had a fabulous lunch, and that the weather is still cooperating two days later!

Well, it's been in the middle 50s and rainy the past two days, so I wouldn't say the weather is cooperating exactly. But, on the plus side, it's two more days that I can put off turning on the air conditioning and it helps alleviate the dry conditions we've been having. I've got to tell you, this "glass half full" me is an interesting change of pace.

I've never been to Seattle, but I've seen Portland in the spring and I'm betting it's a similar situation. Although I think having Mt. Rainier loom over the horizon would cause me some sort of existential angst. lol

Were you able to catch this week's VM? I'm loving it again which means that I'll be very sad if the abysmal ratings cause it not to be renewed. But, in the meantime, hips of Logan. Mmmmm.
