Ooh, Kavita Daswani is a favourite of mine. I read For Matrimonial Purposes and highly enjoyed that work. When reading The Village Bride of Beverly Hills, I kept getting the urge to read the book out loud to *certain* family members and telling them...see this so could happen if you people keep pushing the arrange marriage idea.
I'm going to check out Kitchen Confidential...it sounds deliciously interesting.
