My alter alter ego

I must admit that this one truly amuses me. What is it about the word "nether" that makes me want to laugh out loud?

Now that summer season is over it feels like summer has officially started at our house. No getting anyone up for morning practice. Huzzah!! Although I've spent most of the day running errands and buying gifts and party bag treats for N's 8th birthday this Thursday. I also picked up tickets to tomorrow night's midnight showing of the new Harry Potter. I'll be taking three teenagers to share the fun. I'm am somewhat infuriated by the fact that the theater box office couldn't tell me what time Shrek the Third is playing on Thursday. We've invited four other 8 year olds to go to the movies to celebrate N's birthday and it makes it rather difficult to give specific dropoff info to their respective parents if no one can tell me what times the movie is actually playing. Maybe I'll go try to call again. *sigh*

I think the word "nether" is just inherently funny. Not sure why. I also like the way "loquacious" looks in print. Somehow it's not as cool when you say it out loud, but in print it looks cool.

It is possible that I spend too much time thinking about words. Hmm.

Since I've actually had "loquacious" used in reference to me on more than one occasion I viewed it as confirmation that this was truly my title. :)

I'm right there with you on spending inordinate amounts of time thinking about words. I cling to the thought that there are many worse things that could be taking up available brain computational space.
