Happy Halloween!
I hope that all of you are ready for an evening of ghoulish good fun. We're nearly ready at our house. The jack-o-lanterns are lit. The nearly 13 lbs of candy is ready to be given out. I'm dressed up as Drusilla complete with a blindfolded Miss Edith and the kids are in their costumes. N is a black cat this year. Her best friend is coming over to trick-or-treat with her, as she has for the past 3 years, and she'll be a matching black cat. M is a red demon complete with a scary pitchfork. And....the first trick-or-treater just came. It's show time!!!
ETA It's been a record-breaking night. 142 trick-or-treaters so far this evening. I'm down to the last 1/2 pound of candy. Ir's a good thing that there don't seem to be anymore.
