Happy Birthday to you

My little girl is sixteen today.  Which means that she's old enough to date by our house rules.  I'm not sure that I'm ready for that brave new frontier.

Happy Birthday J!  You make my world a better place simply by existing in it.

Wow 16. That's almost scary. My eldest turns 11 in a few months and I'm already wondering where all of the years went. :)

Happy birthday to you J (even though I don't know you), may you continue to bless your family and friends with love!

Ah, thanks! It's amazing how fast it all goes by. I had someone tell my when my oldest (who'll be 18 in December!!) was small that "the days take forever and the years fly by". I've found it to be very apt.

How many do you have? I've got four ranging from the previously mentioned nearly 18 year old down to a 10 year old. Two boys and two girls.

Yes I would agree with that statement too. The days definitely drag sometimes!

I have 3 boys, aged 10, 6 and 2. It's wearing but I love them to death. :)

Mine are 17 (18 in December), 16, 12 (13 in December) and 10. I remember the days when there were still toddlers. I felt permanently tired. But it was also a lot of fun.

Wow, so many teenagers! I'm amazed you're still sane. :)

They are tiring when they're little but it is fun. And you never get those days back so it's good to enjoy them while you can.

Sorry, I missed this comment. Sane is a point open for debate. ;) Actually, they've been pretty good so far. Some hairy moments, but that's par for the course I think. It will be strange to have three of them in the house by the end of the year though.
