The lazy days of summer
Jun. 13th, 2005 01:20 pmAren't really as lazy as I'd like. lol Swim team practice runs from 7am to 10:30 with each kid at a different time. Luckily, my husband can take the older two who have the earlier practices when he leaves in the morning. But, the days of no "alarm clock summertime" haven't arrived at my house yet and won't until sometime after July 9th when summer championships are over. This whole adulthood thing is not exactly how I envisioned it while in my youth. ;)
Otherwise, not a whole lot going on at the moment although that's about to change. D and her girls arrive on Wednesday afternoon and will be here until Saturday. We're going to do a lot of hanging out by the pool and I think we may check out the Sarah P. Duke gardens. We also have tickets to the Bulls game on Friday night whre there will be fireworks after the game. I'm a sucker for night baseball and fireworks. lol Then Sunday is Father's Day, followed by my anniversary on Monday, and a visit next Wednesday from my father-in-law who's coming so that he can go to one of the kids' swim meets. Busy, busy, busy.
How's summer treating the rest of you?
