Here's my map of states visited. Obviously I need to make an effort to visit the West. Not to mention it's very sad that I've never made it to Vermont considering the fact that for years it's the place I wanted to live. Anyway, the whole story, behind the cut.

Birthday greetings

To two of my favorite people who are both celebrating today. N, my baby girl, who is officially six (with the gap toothed grin to prove it) and over the moon about needing both hands to show how old she is, and D, one of my dearest friends, who is somewhat more than six, but still fabulous.
