Two days ago we added a new family member. He's a six month old rescue kitty, mostly Maine Coon (the brown tabby variety). We've been trying to come up with a good name, but haven't made a decision yet. Current possibilities include Oliver, Jasper, and Phineas. We've always given our cats proper names and our other cat is named Nicholas. Because he's a rustic looking boy kitty, I'm thinking that names evocative of 18th and 19th century New England are the way to go. So, your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to give me some suggestions. He's a brown tabby Maine Coon with a tail that looks like a cross between a racoon and a ring tailed lemur. My 8 year old wanted to name him "Raccoon Tail". Ah, the literalness of the 8 year old. lol

New kitty is very cute and he definitely deserves a name. Please help. :)
