If you can spare a good thought or two

My youngest sister is having surgery tomorrow afternoon. She's been in the hospital all week with suspected appendicitis, but the doctors have also discovered a tumor on her liver. They plan to do a biopsy when they remove her appendix. Odds are that it's benign, but we're just not sure.

If that weren't enough, J was diagnosed with the flu yesterday and it looks as if M and possibly N may have it as well. I'll be heading back to the doctor with all three of them tomorrow as J is afraid that she might be developing pneumonia as well.

Plus, the van was back in the shop this week. It took two days but they finally figured out what was causing my intermittent electrical problems to the tune of nearly $500.

*sigh* I'm ready for some stress-free time. Anyone have a surefire way to make that happen?
