Go 'Canes!!

To say that North Carolina isn't really noted for hockey is an understatement the likes of saying the Titanic ran into a little ice. But, things are getting exciting here in the Triangle. Especially since the Hurricanes dismantled the Oilers tonight 5-0 to go up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals. We're used to people getting frenzied about ACC basketball, but this is a very refreshing change of pace. Plus, the Hurricane team colors just happen to be my favorite colors which satisfies me on a very visceral and shallow level. :)

So, here's to the 'Canes and may the winning streak continue!!
