So, I was ruminating today on the potential candidates for the big reveals on the remaining VM episodes. I'm betting that The Beaver has information that's going to lead to the identity of Veronica's rapist and I still think that it will turn out to be Duncan. That led me to wonder if the show will shy away from the specter of incest. They're already dealt with abuse by a stepparent this season, but this is taking things a bit further. You have two options that prevent Duncan and Veronica from being related.

1)that Veronica is biologically Keith's child or should Jake be Veronica's biological child
2)that biologically Duncan is *not* Jake's child.

Which would certainly be a juicy secret for Lilly to have stumbled on to wouldn't it? Imagine the angst that would ensue if Duncan were biologically Aaron's son. Then you would have a potential triangle with Veronica caught between two half-brothers. Not that any of this will likely come to pass, but it would be a great scenario for a fanfic. You've got to love a show that prompts such creative musing.

At any rate, I'm picking Duncan as the rapist.


I'm still bemoaning the fact that I have to attend my board meeting and
then go to lead the discussion of my book group tomorrow night. 
The vcr had better work or things will get ugly.

I'd post a cut, but it doesn't seem to allow it in comments, so if you don't want to read specs, stop reading...:) First paragraph is safe if you read Angela's cut. Second is my spec. Third is about something else.





Excellent spec, Angela. The other reason it makes a lot of sense is that imagine Lilly's taunting if it were true. After all, he was the golden child, and she wasn't. She would probably have been fairly cruel about the whole thing. That he had garnered praise that she might feel belonged to her. But I can't say for sure I think it's Duncan. He's been suspected too early I think.

Another spec I've heard...and that I like. Aaron. The reasons make a lot of sense, if something weird was going on between him and Lilly. I wouldn't put it past him, since he's very creepy. I read a fanfic about it today. I'm leaning in this direction more and more. I just can't imagine that it's Logan. He'll be suspected of too many things. Plus, imagine... Veronica's "snooping" will result in Logan's father being taken down. Plus Logan's father will have killed Logan's first love. PLUS maybe that's why Lynn disappeared. She knew too much. I like this one.

By the way, I'll have your questions for you tomorrow. If you read my latest entry, you'll see that I'm wallowing in self-pity and can't think of anyone else tonight. Sigh. I'll be over it by tomorrow. :)

But weren't the Echolls parents on their trek to Nepal when Lilly was murdered? That's why Logan was having the party at his house where Lilly didn't show and Logan kissed Yolanda.
