Random thought for next season's plot arc

Didn't Veronica nab three tapes from Lilly's vent? Could Lilly's "good secret" be what was on the third tape that we haven't seen as of yet? Because, somehow I don't think even Lilly would believe that sweet virginal Veronica would find Lilly having an affair with the skeevy aging movie star father of her on again/off again boyfriend to be a "good secret". If Lilly didn't confide in Veronica about her fling with Weevil, I don't see her getting all teen confessional about statutory rape with Aaron.

Is whatever happens to be on that third tape what will help kickstart the mystery arc in the second season?

Since I don't watch it I haven't really been following yours and Kath's VM comments, but I have to say Angela, I am supremely amused at the amount of headspace it's taking up for you. :D *hug*

You would think that I'd learn not to fall into these traps. Although this is nothing in comparison to obsessions past. I'll never be that idealistic again. *shakes head over memory*

That's an interesting idea! I wouldn't be surprised if we saw that tape again. Rob Thomas said in one of his interviews a while ago that he would want season one events to serve as both clues and/or red herrings for season two mysteries. I don't think that's spoilery - We have no idea what the season two mysteries will be, but I would be surprised if they're not related to season one, at least peripherally.

I, too, think it's strange that Lilly would use the term "good secret" about Aaron with Veronica. Who knows, though? I also read her delivery a little bit as it's a "big one" more than a positive one. But I cannot imagine her ever telling Veronica about Aaron. Because, just yuck.

I've been trying to figure out the timeline to the day that Veronica died. Are we to assume that she went from the carwash, to Aaron's, found the tape, and then went home? Because, if that's the case, then her "secret" line has nothing to do with the tapes. Hmmm. I still think that there were three of them though and Veronica and Duncan only looked at two.
