1. Clean house More or less done. Good enough for government work. :0

2. Get key to catsitter

3. Clean out litter box

4. Pack for myself and four children for cold weather

5. Get my mammogram

6. Wrap presents for my mother, 2 sisters, father, brother-in-law, niece, nephew, grandmother, and friend to take on trip 15 presents wrapped and ready to go

7. Go to oldest son's first basketball game of the season He made the game winning shot!!!

8. Get directions to lodge where we're staying and find out whether or not there's a washing machine which will dictate how much I have to pack.

9. Download Christmas music to my iPod so that I can listen to it on the drive back

10. Help older daughter make something to take to the Middle School International Banquet Cake cooling in preparation for frosting

11. Potentially deal with more mother-in-law insanity

That's without the usual make lunches, get kids to school, make dinner, etc of my life.

Send energy my way please. I need it. :)

Heavens, I only have to do about half those things before I leave on Wednesday and I'm feeling exhausted. Good thoughts headed your way, and I'm drinking a glass of wine for you right now. It's a nice Syrah with vaguely chocolatey undertones, just so you know.

How sweet of you to imbibe on my behalf. With chocolately undertones no less. :)

Mel, I'm having serious urges. There's a 2-for-1 deal on bags at Bath and Body Works and I'm *this* close to succumbing. I really need red croc embossed leather carryons don't you think? Or perhaps the brown...

I saw those bags this weekend! Go for the red--that thing is freaking gorgeous. I drooled over it for at least five minutes while my roommate reminded me that I am loyal to my VonFurstenburg carry on.

But my VF one isn't red, dammit! *sniff*

I like the way that you enable. Perhaps that should my Christmas present from Greg. "Don't worry about shopping for me honey. I've taken care of it for you." :)

Sadly, I just went back to the Bath and Body Works website and they're no longer offering the buy one get one free deal. *sigh*

Thank you. :) I think it will be a very happy Thanksgiving. We'll be spending it with my family and we'll also get to celebrate my niece's first birthday as well as my grandmother's 78th.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. I hope that you're feeling much more settled in your new place.

Just wanted to say, Happy Early Thanksgiving to you and your family. I hope everything goes smoothly and your holiday is filled with loads of laughter, memories and FOOD!

Yikes, that's a load but quite expected when holidays roll around. I wish I could send some helpers to you but instead sending you energy and good thoughts!

Thanks Micha. I'm sure that everything will work out. It always does. :)

I appreciate the energy and good thoughts. I hope that all is well with you. Are you getting geared up for the holidays? I know that you must be happy that the hockey strike is finally over.

I might actually do a few dishes since my mother will be doing the lion's share of the cooking. But, since we're going to a place in the mountains of north Georgia that she rented, we may just use Chinet. I do love simplicity. :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you. I hope that you're feeling much better and that you have a great holiday.
