Peeking in

Just a quick flyby to say that we're back. Much food was eaten. "Alpine Helen" furnished much amusement. Some truly hysterical games of Cranium were played. (Highlights include "is it a prostitute?", "that's not the standard definition of elope", and "Curse you Moriarty".) I got to see almost all of my family and my niece's 1st birthday and my grandmother's 78th were duly feted. I even got to use my navigational skills as we detoured off of I-85 due to horrendous traffic. Did you know that there was a town in NC called Misenheimer or that Pfeiffer University was located there? Neither did I before about 4:00 yesterday afternoon. You probably already knew that being stuck in traffic can cause ill will with your significant other. ;)

Hope that all of you had a good Thanksgiving or plain old Thursday.

Well, that's disturbing. Thanks for the info. I'm usually home alone during the day on weekdays, so I'll definitely be keeping the door locked.

Sorry that I haven't gotten back to you about a Starbucks outing. Life got hectic with the kids, but things are calming down a tad now. What does your schedule look like? We could wander around Southpoint or something or there's a Starbucks across from Southpoint in the retail area adjacent to PF Chang's. That would work as well.

My kids get out of school for winter break on the 16th, so sometime next week would work for my schedule. No pressure though. :)
