I went to the bank and the library today. While that might smack of the mundane for the rest of you I have to say that I was really excited about it because it was the first time I'd been out of my house in over 4 days. Yes, I'm no longer housebound with sick kids. #1 did finally succumb, but thankfully 14 year olds are less labor intensive while sick than 6 year olds. Plus, odds are good that he'll go back to school tomorrow and then I'll have my days back!! *cue angelic hosts* So, things are looking much better for this week than they did for last. 2006 didn't get off to a rousing start, but I'm optimistic about what comes next. :)

Congratulations on having your days back! I don't feel like the year has really started well until about the middle of January anyway after everybody has fallen back into a truly non-holiday routine, so Happy 2006 yet to come!
