Preparing to be LOST

I'm heading out in a little while to go watch the LOST finale with a group of friends. We've been doing premieres, finales and random episodes together since sometime during S5 of Buffy. After Buffy ended, we migrated to the last season of Angel. When the Jossverse became defunct, we realized we wanted to keep getting together so we picked LOST for our new show this season.
We always do show related food for the big episodes and offerings in the past have included a cake made to look like a graveyard with a Barbie arm coming out of the ground (for the Buffy S6 premiere) and chocolate dipped strawberries as well as plain strawberries with real whipped cream (for Buffy S7 and the whole good versus evil debate). I've been going back and forth on what my contribution should be for this evening. My son's cooking class at school this week made a great Millionaire Pie which heavily features peanut butter. I thought that could be a nice double nod to both Hurley lottery winnings and Charlie's little miming of peanut butter eating for Claire. But, after last week, I decided that an homage to the Koreans is the way to go. Without them life would have been much more grim on the island. So, I decided to go with sushi. Yes, I know that sushi is Japanese and not Korean, but I thought a little fish and eel (to represent Jin's skill fishing) and some sea vegetable (to represent Sun and her agriculture) was a nice gesture. For dessert I'm thinking Klondike bars to remind us of the early days on the island and rampaging polar bears in the tropics. It should be fun.
Oh, by the way.
vonnielake pointed me to one of the most cracktastic lj sites ever. Run, don't walk to
audiography. They're a mp3 site that has theme weeks and this week's theme is covers. Would you believe that a cover exists of The Chipmunks doing The Time Warp? Neither would I if I hadn't seen it myself. It's where my Rufus Wainwright came from. Go, you'll be very glad that you did.
2 more. Bringing us to 27.
