Book Pledge Update

Number 21 is The Three Incestuous Sisters by Audrey Niffenegger. It's subtitled "A Novel in Pictures" and that's the best synopsis. Think Gorey crossed with peculiar Victorian sensibilities and a little Garcia Marquez thrown in just for kicks. Completely different from Time Traveler's Wife which I think bodes well for her sophomore novel. She obviously isn't someone who will be pigeonholed.

Hey, let me know how it is. I heard that it was different than TTW but wasn't sold on picking it up. Let me know what you think.

It's a very quick read Sarah. I picked it up from the library to use for my Book Group presentation and ended up reading it at lunchtime yesterday. The format is very much like a children's picture book with minimal text. Although the storyline isn't quite what I'd recommend for a children's book. lol I'd suggest just picking it up at the library to read.
