Really getting ready to flyby

I'm heading to Ireland tomorrow (oops, technically today now) and wanted to wave at my friends list before I go. I still have tons of things to get ready before I leave. Packing, ugh. Packing when you're heading to a completely different season than the one you're living in, double ugh. Packing when you're going to a formal occasion in a different season with tons of people you've never met...well, you get the idea.
I'm surprisingly anxious about leaving. I've left the kids to go on shorter trips (3-4 days), but this feels much more serious somehow. Maybe it's that whole "being across an ocean and on a different continent" thing. Plus, M has already been crying and telling me how much he's going to miss me. *sigh* I know it's an amazing opportunity, but I have a fair amount of angst about leaving. So, please think good thoughts for me please that everything will go smoothly here with G and the kids and that I'll have a stressfree trip. And that any terrorist activity will be virtually nonexistant.
Oh, before I go, #89 was I Did (But I Wouldn't Now) by Cara Lockwood. I like her breezy and infectious writing style, but I spent the first half of this book wanting to slap some sense into the heroine. I'm not sure if I'd read anything else by the author.
I hope that you all have good weeks and I look forward to catching up with you when I get back.
