#10 is Love, Julie by Christine Bush(Jan/07). This was an eminently forgettable hardback romance set on the Western frontier. Inoffensive, but in no way memorable. Except that in it the terms "struck a cord" and "a mute point" are actually used. *shakes head in dismay* It's one thing to find those kinds of errors in fanfic, but in a hardback that's presumably been read over by various people multiple times at numerous stages in the production process? I weep for the state of my professional field. The old lose/loose error is just lurking in wait for me somewhere on my reading horizon. I know it!

#11 is Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt(Jan/07). I'm reading this one to M and N as our most current bedtime book and decided to read ahead. It's a haunting little story. Everyone blithely assumes that immortality is something that they'd want. But, would you? Really? If there wasn't a hot vampire involved at any rate? ;)
