Random stuff

First off, Happy belated Valentine's Day to my friendslist. I hope that there was much good chocolate to be had. I have a bag of dark chocolate Lindt Lindor balls that are calling my name even as I type. They have such alluring voices too. Must. Be. Strong.

I need to return some library books before my trip, so here's the latest before I forget it.

#23 is I'm Your Girl by J. J. Murray(Feb/O7). The premise of this book interested me in that it's a chick lit about the relationship between an African-American librarian in her mid-20's and a recently widowed white author in his early 30s, but it ended up glossing over too much. There were some humorous moments, particularly when the heroine is reading advance copies of novels for online review, but even at nearly 400 pages, it still felt "trifling" to quote her.

Now, for some thoughts about the current tv season. There may be spoilers, particularly for VM.
