Today's a very special day

And not just because it's the first official day of summer vacation at my house.  But, due to the very important fact that it's also *cues drum roll* muffinkath7's birthday!

The next 10 books

Most of these fall more into the "summer reading" category.  But, given that it's been over 100 for days now, summer reading is about the only thing that I'm in the mood to do.  Plus, as Friday was the kids' last day of school (Hallefreakinlujah!), it's officially summer reading time anyway.

Now, on to the books.

In other news, I'm happy to report that the Parkwood Piranhas had their first dual meet on Saturday against the team that beat us last year (the only team to beat us in the last five years) and we pulled off a win. I truly didn't expect it.  This means that the odds are good that we'll go undefeated again this year in dual meets.  Who knows about champs.  But, I'm going to focus on the good right now. :)

Speaking of good, I may have gone to see "Iron Man" a couple more times.  If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it and you should see it on the big screen.  Iron Man good.
