Book Pledge update

I finished this one a few days ago, but haven't had a chance to update. #24 is from my Booksale haul. Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell, who some of you might recognize as the voice of Violet Parr in "The Incredibles" as well as an NPR contributor. This is nonfiction and highly entertaining. While you might think that a book that's essentially about dead presidents is going to be a real downer, you'd be wrong. An interesting mix of history and pop culture riffs with little character sketches thrown in for good measure. Aren't you curious to know just how Robert Todd Lincoln was a jinx? Sure you are. Both quirky and enjoyable.

We're heading out to visit family for the holiday weekend in the morning. I hope that all of you have a great one. Eat some chocolate for me please. :)
