Quick book update
Apr. 18th, 2007 01:49 pmI did manage to do more damage while doing Booksale cleanup. I figure that on the spectrum of addictions, acquiring books on the cheap is positively benign.
I also got a couple more read.
#56 is Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident by Eoin Colfer (Apr07). We read this as a bedtime book with M and N. They enjoyed it and it's a lively story.
#57 is Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner (Apr07). I picked this up at the Booksale and read it Sunday night. I know that some of the people on my FL had read this author before, but this was my first experience with her. Though there were some cliched plot devices, I found the writing engaging and the book enjoyable. I'd read more by the author.
Now, if only I could get official confirmation that VM is canceled. It's apparently too much to hope that both GG *and* VM fade away. *sigh*
