A little career counseling anyone?
Sep. 14th, 2007 01:42 pmBecause it's been too long since I've meme'd, I couldn't resist this one.
1. Go to http://www.careercruising.com/.
2. Put in Username: nycareers, Password: landmark.
3. Take their "Career Matchmaker" questions.
4. Post the top umpty results:
*drum roll please*
1.Historian
2.Anthropologist
3.Paralegal
4.Political Aide
5.Critic
6.Judge
7.ESL Teacher
8.Writer
9.Civil Litigator
10.Lawyer
11.Professor
12.Researcher
13.Corporate / Commercial Lawyer
14.Editor
15.Psychologist
16.Tour Guide
17.Print Journalist
18.Criminal Lawyer
19.Customer Service Representative
20.Event Planner
What's interesting is that I seriously considered half of these as careers and I'm actually employed as one of them. On the other hand, "customer service representative"? Um, no thanks. And I'm woefully wrong to be an ESL teacher.
