To say that North Carolina isn't really noted for hockey is an understatement the likes of saying the Titanic ran into a little ice. But, things are getting exciting here in the Triangle. Especially since the Hurricanes dismantled the Oilers tonight 5-0 to go up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals. We're used to people getting frenzied about ACC basketball, but this is a very refreshing change of pace. Plus, the Hurricane team colors just happen to be my favorite colors which satisfies me on a very visceral and shallow level. :)

So, here's to the 'Canes and may the winning streak continue!!

Culinary:	dark chocolate	There's something so sinfully delicious about those Lindt Lindor truffles
Literary:	Fanfic	Roswell, X-Files, Buffy, Farscape, Harry Potter, Veronica Mars. I've read it all in copious amounts
Audiovisual:	TWOP	It's a toxic environment, but I'm trying to break the hold. If I ditched FF, I can ditch this too!
Musical:	Coldplay	I spent a lot of money for those tickets, but the concert was totally worth it
Celebrity:	People.com	I can't stop myself from clicking on those headline stories. Even when I know I shouldn't.
